WHAT’S HAPPENING THIS MONTH – AUGUST 2023
St. Croix has a few upcoming events on St. Croix for the month of August and some regular weekly events that are a sure fire way to spend your evenings. Stop by The Remedy before you head out the these great events to have some extra fun! In a real hurry to get to your chosen event? Remember that we do curbside pick up. Gold Medal Parade – Friday, August 5th
In Christiansted Saturday, August 5 will be a parade for the USVI Women’s National Team. They won the gold medal at the 2023 Central American and Caribbean Games in San Salvador, El Salvador, beating the Dominican Republic 76-72 in the final on June 28. There will be road closures during the time of this parade, come early for parking. The Remedy will be open our normal hours of 10am-6pm for all of your shopping needs. Pick up orders are welcome, please call the shop at 340-773-7777 if you have any questions. The line-up starts at 8:30 a.m. and the parade starts at 10:00 a.m. from WTJX (Channel 12 Building) to the Christiansted Fort. Per The Virgin Islands Police Department the following parking restrictions are enforced:
- No Traffic will be allowed eastbound past the Richmond Post Office from 8:00 a.m.
- No Parking along King Street from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
- No Traffic will be allowed onto King Street from any of the connecting sides streets from 9:00 a.m.
- No Traffic will be allowed onto King Street from Contentment Road and the Bypass from 9:00 a.m.
- No Traffic will be allowed onto Hospital Street from East End Road from 9:00 a.m.
Movies Under the Stars – Friday, August 5th
Continuing the fun August 5, Leatherback Brewery Company is hosting their movie night from 6:45pm-930pm featuring Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3. The whole family can enjoy a night under the stars. Enjoy an authentic Virgin Islands craft beer with Caribbean grown ingredients and influence. Bring chairs and blankets to enjoy your night or grab one of their picnic tables!

Wednesday and Thursday Nights @ BREW STX
BREW STX is Restaurant, Bar and Microbrewery located on the beautiful Boardwalk in downtown Christiansted. You should race over to BREW on Wednesday nights for their crab races hosted by Tito & Sue. This fun event for all ages starts at 5:30pm. Make sure to arrive early to get a good view. Thursday nights at BREW are all about seafood and No Problemo. No Problemo is the band to see while on island, playing an array of popular music you can see along to while sipping a delicious beer made right on site. Cheers everybody!

Thursday & Friday Nights @ Deep End Bar And Grille
The Deep End Bar and Grill host some great regular events throughout the week. Thursday nights are for Disco Bingo. Reservations are highly recommended for bingo.
